Terms & Conditions



1. BOOKING AND DEPOSIT

Before a booking can be accepted by Florida Villas Ltd., a member of the party must pay a deposit for each service requested. They shall then be deemed as the agent for all persons travelling, wether they intend travelling or not. The agent is also liable for ensuring all bookings are paid in full prior to departure. Payment of a deposit is contingent on accepting these conditions

In order to confirm your booking, the following non-refundable deposit will be required:-

Accomodation per villaupto $300(150) per week
Car hire (if booked spearately)upto $150(75) per vehicle


It is advisable to take out insurance at the time of booking, rather than time of travel.

2. PAYMENT OF BALANCE

Full payment must be received 10 weeks or more prior to departure date. Failure to make full payment within the specified period will entitle Florida Villas Ltd to cancel the booking and claim the approprate cancellation charges.

3. SECURITY DEPOSIT

Upon payment of the final invoice, a security deposit per villa will be required against all breakages, telephone charges or damage caused during the rental period. In the event of any charges being made you will advised in writing, otherwise the deposit will be refunded within 28 days of return. An additional deposit (by way of credit card slip) may be required on arrival by the management company in Florida.

4. AMENDMENTS

Subject to availability, should you wish to amend any part of your booking a $75(50) administration fee will be charged.

Florida Villas Ltd. reserves the right to alter your accomodation to an equal or upgraded property should the need become nescessary.

5. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR BOOKING

If you or any member of your party wishes to cancel the or any part of the booking once it has been confirmed, Florida villas Ltd must be informed in writing. The following cancellation charges will apply:-

Period prior to departure within
which cancellation notice was recieved
Amount of loss
prior to 70 daysLoss of deposit only
Less than 70 daysLoss of total holiday cost


6. CHANGES AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Guests are advised to have appropriate travel/medical insurance in force for the period of their holiday. All matters with regard to loss or injury should be directed to their respective insurance company.

Where the property has a swimming pool, Florida Villas Ltd does not accept liability for any for any injury however caused as a result of the use of the pool. Guests are specifically requested not to allow unsupervised children to use the pool, local laws apply.

Florida Villas Ltd. reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a client whose conduct is deemed to be disruptive and affects the enjoyment of other holidaymakers. We shall be under no liability to accept any costs incurred or responsibility for, any such person.

The owners of the property, or their servants or agents, will not be liable for any loss or delay occaisoned by any of the following: strikes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war or threat of war, terrorist actiivity, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical/weather problems to transport, aircraft, closure of airports, or any other even deemed beyond the owner's control.

Aircraft captains are legally entitlted to deny boarding to any passengers who present themselves at the aircraft in an unacceptable condition to drink or drugs. Any passenger so doing will be deemed as having given notice of his/her cancellation of the booking at that time and the aforementioned cancellation charges will apply.

7. COMPLAINTS TO AND THE LIABILITY OF FLORIDA VILLAS LTD

Florida Villas Ltd. endeavors to provide an exceptionally high standard of service to its clients. Should you experience any problem whatsoever please contact your local representative/management company who will do their best to assist and rectify the matter as soon as practially possible. Should a problem remain unresolved, Florida Villas Ltd must be notified IMMEADIATELY. Failure to contact us will will adversly affect your customer rights to compensation. At the end of your holiday any further complaint must be notified to us in writing within seven days of your return. No action can be taken or liability accepted for complaints recieved after this period. A full and complete investigation will be made and any nescessary corrective action will be taken immeadiately. A full report would will be sent to the complainant in due course. Where pool heating is available, solar heating is free of charge, however an additional charge will be made for electric or gas heating if it is required by the client. A mechanical fault resulting in the loss of heat will bot be a cause for compensation to the client but they will be reimbursed money paid for the days of heating lost.

8. BROCHURE DESCRIPTION

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the descriptions and information concerning the properties, resorts and services. However we cannot be held responsible for errors, omissions and any changes to your holiday that are beyond our control.

9. INSECTS

As Florida is a tropical state, insects and small creatures are inevitable and not a cause for complaint. Their presence is no reflection on the cleanliness of the property. Every home is treated periodically as part of a pest and termite control program. We advise you to keep all windows and doors closed whenever possible, it will also help the air-conditioning unit to work more effciently.

10. PASSPORT AND VISA

All passengers, including children and infants must possess a passport vaild for at least six months beyond their return date. If in doubt contact your local passport office. The name on your passport should match the name in which your holiday is reserved and accordingly noted on the booking form.

The majority of visitors to the USA from Britain, western Europe no long require a visa as a result of the Visa Waiver Program. There are some exclusions such as British Subject passports, Eire passports and anyone with a criminal record. Should you believe any of these apply to you or any member of your party please contact Florida Villas Ltd, the US Embassy or any travel agency for full details.

It is the holidaymaker's repsonsibility to make sure they have all the correct travel documents. Florida Villas Ltd cannot accept any liability for any of the aforementioned conditions not being met or any refusal of passage.

11. PERSONAL SAFETY

Florida Villas Ltd cannot accept any liability for your personal safety during your vacation. Clients are reminded to exercise care as to the personal safety of themselves and their party. Whenever possible valueables should be left secure and out of sight.

12. JURISDICTION

This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by English Law, and the jurisdiction of English Courts.
